I’ve been a huge fan of Dan Clowes back when I knew his work under the nom de plume Stosh Gillespie in Cracked Magazine. Before his Uggly Family strips in Cracked he participated in 2 issues of Psycho Comics, of which I’ve found the second issue on Ebay recently. The work is rough but full of enthusiasm. ThereĀ are also some great early efforts by Rick Altergott, Mort Todd, and Gene Fama.
Now to score a copy of Floyd Farland, and The Biologic Show!

Nice, I’ve never seen Psycho Comics before. You can still get at least one issue of Biologic show for cover price from FG, y’know. And a copy of Floyd Farland just went for only 25 quid on ebay, so you may get one of those someday – although it is really only worth it for the curiosity value. I don’t really regret selling my copy a few years back.
